I was tasked with designing an app for a party drone that turned your party up a notch. This drone would include a camera for recording your aerial adventures, as well as a built in speaker to pump out your favorite tunes. Other features include lasers, smoke, bubbles. All of which can be controlled from your smart phone.
Rather than having an app with a basic concept and an complex identity, I looked to the sky for my inspiration. Using a rich sky blue gradient accompanied by white accents to achieve a clean and characteristic appearance. I used organic shapes to form clouds as well as the button layouts to provide a simple user-friendly app experience.
